Cast Away

Cast Away is an old film, released in 2000. But for some people who have watched it, they will never forget this film, including me.

Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) works for a freight forwarder, FedEx.  After a Christmas dinner with his family and girlfriend, Kelly (Helen Hunt), Chuck goes off to deliver on a FedEx flight.

But due to bad weather, Chuck's plane crashes into the sea.  All the passengers died, only Chuck survived in the emergency lifeboat.  Chuck ends up stranded on an island that has been uninhabited for more than 4 years.  Chuck uses various ways to live, from drinking from falling coconut water, eating raw fish, to making fire from tree branches.  Chuck finds several FedEx shipping packages that are washed away and stranded, one of which is a volleyball, which Chuck ends up talking to during the stranded.  Chuck named the ball after his brand, namely Wilson.  The existence of volleyball (Wilson) shows the human need for a friend to talk to, humans cannot live alone.
